Sintering (Diffusion bonding)
Thanks to a new available kit, up to 6 rings can be sintered. This means, that they are diffusion bonded together by applying heat and mechanical pressure on the shenks of rings made of different alloys.The sintering kit is mounted in a few minutes.
A production cycle takes – including the setting and removal of the parts about 6 to 7 minutes. Many tests were effected with the rings produced this way: They were drilled, milled, perforated and enlarged up to 18 sizes.
Afterwards the rings were sawed to check the section under the microscope, as a result of the tests, we can confirm that an enormous reliability of the sintering can be guaranteed.
